Habiburokhman Predicts the Jokowi Team's Stages on Corruption Issues, Presidential Candidates Debate

Gerindra Party DPP Chairman Habiburokhman said that the pair Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno would be able to answer all human rights issues at the 2019 presidential and vice presidential debate. On the other hand, Habiburokhman was not sure the Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin camp could control all issues, including corruption.
"What we are worried about is that the next candidate will talk about the issue of corruption. How is it possible to claim Nawacita succeeded if there were many politicians supporting the side who were caught by the KPK," Habiburokhman told reporters on Friday.
Habiburokhman claimed to have a record of supporters of the Jokowi camp who were caught by the KPK. He also dragged former Social Minister of the era of President Jokowi, Idrus Marham, who was caught in a corruption case at the KPK.
"According to our records, throughout 2018 there were arrests of at least 20 regional heads, of whom 14 were politicians from government support parties. Not to mention the corruption cases that ensnared the former Minister of Social Affairs," Habiburokhman said.
Regarding the issue of human rights, Habiburokhman said, Prabowo-Sandi is ready to answer all questions at the presidential-vice presidential debate later. According to him, the issue of human rights is a stale attack that is often blown to Prabowo.
"We make sure that Pak Prabowo and Mr. Sandi are very prepared to face recycling attacks on human rights issues ahead of the upcoming January 17 presidential debate. We say recycling because the issue only appears once every five years before the election and returns to evaporate as the election ends," he said.
"We suspect that this recycling attack will be carried out by people who are frustrated and tired of looking for the weaknesses of Pak Prabowo and Sandi, which are almost nonexistent.
